Administrator/Bookkeeper

Breast Cancer UK is looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our small but busy team

Part time | Up to 22.5 hours/week | £19.5k – 22k pro rata depending on experience | home-based

With a team of people who all work remotely, we rely on the right systems being in place, efficient processes and excellent communications to help the charity run smoothly.

The successful applicant must be IT proficient in both Word and Excel and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. A bookkeeping qualification or experience is required and experience of working with Xero would be an advantage. 

In addition, you will have good literacy and numeracy skills and accurate attention to detail. You will also be responsible for a range of administrative duties such as processing mail, coordinating meetings, updating databases, purchasing supplies, banking, dealing with basic internal and external enquiries as well as writing minutes and agendas.   

The role will be home based, so the post-holder will need to be equipped and willing and able to work remotely. 

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight into, and experience of, a UK based breast cancer charity at a time of growth and development.
