Santa Fun Run

Run Santa Run!

From Lapland to London - thousands of Father Christmas' will descend on Victoria Park in a bid to raise funds for charity.

Join Breast Cancer UK in London's annual Santa Run 2017 and help us prevent breast cancer.

Over 4000 Santa's will hop on their sleigh and make their way to London in a christmas mission to raise huge amounts for hundreds of charities, including Breast Cancer UK.

Taking place on Sunday 3 December, the fun run is set to bring a flash of red christmas cheer to Victoria Park London, as Santa's from around the country tackle the 5km and 10km courses.  Every aspiring santa who takes part in the run will receive a free santa costume.

But I'm not fit enough to run 5K!

No problem, there are lots of websites and apps out there to help you train for the run.  Below are a few recommendations to help get you up and running!

The NHS couch to 5k is a fab website for training tips and advice, and training plans!

Running Bug is also a great website, it has beginners, intermediate and advanced running plans

Runner’s World also has lots of training tips, some are only available to subscribers but there are lots of free articles and plans too. Here’s a 6 week plan for example.

Don't forget to share your training pics with us and help inspre others!

Come on, lets don our santa suits and take action for prevention.
